We’re honoring Valentine’s Day by showing love to the digital tools in our iQ toolbox. These programs and services increase efficiencies for communications professionals who want to improve their writing, design, speaking and organizational skills.
1. Agorapulse
If you work in social media, you understand that the right social media management software can make a world of difference. Agorapulse allows you to manage multiple accounts and inboxes, makes it easy to respond to notifications, create, schedule and publish content right from the app (including Instagram!). On top of that, it also offers comprehensive and customizable reports to help analyze performance and guide future content.
2. Canva
At iQ 360, we’re grateful to have a creative department dedicated to handling all our creative needs. However, when non-creatives need to design a quick flyer or social media graphic, we recommend Canva. Canva’s drag-and-drop interface and free templates make it easy to create high quality graphics and videos in an editable file that can be shared and saved for future iterations.
3. CoverageBook
Gone are the days of manually clipping media coverage, screenshotting individual articles and guesstimating coverage metrics. With CoverageBook, all you need to do is upload your coverage — both online and offline — and your CoverageBook will be automatically generated, complete with readership and social share metrics. The final product is shareable through an online link, making it easy to send to clients and make future updates as needed.
4. Grammarly
Writing is hard, so we use Grammarly. Grammarly is a free writing assistant powered by artificial intelligence that goes beyond simple grammar and spelling mistakes to analyze complex issues, like style and tone. It can be added as a browser plug-in to provide corrections and writing recommendations in emails, documents, social media posts and more.
5. Speakflow
Need to memorize a script or prep your spokesperson for a video? Try Speakflow, an online teleprompter software that lets you write and share scripts with your team, set your own pace, sync your presentation across devices and record your video seamlessly. It automatically senses your place in the script and follows along as you read to help you speak more naturally and confidently.
