iQ 360’s Honolulu office keeps growing. In January, Lyssa Omori Fujie joined the team as our newest account director.

With a background in health plan communications, marketing and advertising, Lyssa will oversee communication programs for our clients in health care, human resources and legal services.

Get to know Lyssa with these five facts:

1. Golden State

Lyssa grew up in Southern California and attended USC’s Marshall School of Business. She’s lived in Hawaii for more than 10 years and loves the relaxed pace and spirit of aloha, but she does miss the good food in LA.

2. Health care communicator

Lyssa was a communications program manager and web product manager at HMSA. There, she developed multi-channel campaigns and managed and drove the vision for HMSA’s external websites.

3. Ad agent

She also worked at marketing agency mvnp as an account executive, overseeing client relations and ad campaign strategies for some of Hawaii’s biggest names in retail, hospitality and fast food.

4. World traveler

Lyssa’s passport is full of stamps — she’s traveled to more foreign countries than U.S. states, including Japan, Italy, Greece, Austria, France, Australia, Peru, Mexico and Southeast Asia. Her most memorable trip: a two-week safari in Tanzania.

5. Pizza and pets

Her passions include pizza (her favorite slice came from a restaurant called Savoy in Tokyo) and her mini poodle-shitzu mix.

Welcome to the team, Lyssa!
