Mei Jie Wu is the most recent addition to the iQ 360 team. She joins as an account coordinator. She recently graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa at the height of the pandemic.

Mei Jie (pronounced “May Jay”) is responsible for providing ongoing support for various client campaigns in market research, social media and marketing efforts. Storytelling and digital creativity drew her to this industry.

Get to know Mei Jie with these five fun facts:

1. Produced in china

Mei Jie was born in China. She grew up speaking Cantonese at home and eventually went to Shanghai, China to study abroad in college. She continued to develop her Chinese literacy skills while at the University of Hawaii, taking Mandarin language classes.

2. GEN Z

As the first Generation Z iQer, Mei Jie brings a unique perspective to her work. She embraces her Gen Z identity, being realistic and hard-working. At the same time, she stays current on the latest TikTok trends and YouTube videos.

3. Stationery collection

Cute stationery is a must for Mei Jie — especially notebooks. She has around 20 notebooks in her collection. Journaling helps her relieve stress, but she’s found that the pressure to write can be stressful at the same time.

4. Flights & sights

Mei Jie spent much of her childhood visiting her family in China and developed a thirst for travel as a result. One day, she hopes to visit all the great wonders of the world.

5. Niche interests

Mei Jie enjoys anime, Korean dramas, Chinese dramas, the British royals and American pop culture. She is always ready with cultural trivia from her extensive research!
