iQ 360’s creative team has gained a new designer specializing in digital UI/UX design, branding and mobile product design. Mike Tiscareno joins our Honolulu team, where he’ll help create strategic branding and marketing initiatives for clients in energy, retail, tech and travel.
GET TO KNOW MIKE WITH THESE FIVE QUICK FACTS:
1. Weather man
Mike worked at The Weather Channel as an UI/UX designer with a focus on mobile products. Before that he was at Weather Underground, where his WunderStation app design was featured in an Apple iPad Air 2 campaign.
2. Industrial inspired
Mike studied industrial design at Arizona State University and San Francisco State University, with a focus on product design. He applies his expertise to creating branding and marketing assets, logos and websites for clients, and to his woodworking hobby — he enjoys making furniture pieces in his spare time.
3. Bay Area business
After graduating from college, Mike spent his early career at agencies in the San Francisco Bay Area, including AdNectar and Ecast Inc., creating campaigns for big-name brands including Starwood, Geico, Jameson, Fisher-Price and Procter & Gamble.
4. Music lover
Mike’s been playing acoustic guitar for 25 years. He likes to cover the Beatles or get inspiration from his favorite band, the White Stripes.
5. Hang Ten
Mike enjoys boarding of all types — he frequents Ala Moana Bowls or Chun’s on the North Shore to catch some waves, and his favorite snowboarding spot is at Lake Tahoe, though he doesn’t get up there as much as he’d like.
