Sawako Shimizu

Office Manager

Sawako provides human resources and bookkeeping support for the firm’s local and mainland teams.

Sawako manages front and back-office operations and provides clerical and administrative support at iQ 360. She also assists with recruiting, orientating and training new hire employees.

Sawako has over 30 years of administrative experience in the hospitality and travel industry. Her diverse work experience is mainly in the travel industry. She began her career at Robert’s Hawaii, where she gained skills in administration and research. She later joined Halekulani’s room reservation team, where she provided 5-diamond service at one of the top Hawaii luxury hotels for 12 years. Sawako later taught English in Japan and eventually joined Japan Travel Bureau in the Arrangement section.
