Steve Astle


A former CCO, Steve is a communication strategist and hands-on practitioner who specializes in strategy alignment and change management surrounding high-stakes business initiatives.

Steve helps organizations of all sizes and stages of maturity clarify and fulfill their purpose, fortify their culture and reputation, navigate crises and accelerate business performance. Steve specializes in purpose-led, strategy-driven, high-stakes initiatives in technology, financial services, energy, health care and other highly regulated industries.

As CCO and head of corporate marketing at FICO, the global AI pioneer, Steve oversaw numerous large-scale product introductions involving multiple geographies and agencies. He also served on the M&A diligence team and personally led all internal and external communications surrounding eight acquisitions, five divestitures and five reductions in force. Prior to that, he was co-chair of the global technology practice at FleishmanHillard, leading teams and advising consumer and B2B technology companies on matters of reputation, brand and competitive differentiation.

An alumnus of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Steve has served on two Stanford GSB boards and is a current a member of the TEDxMarin Advisory Board.
